Sometimes two heads really are better than one. That's what Wimbledon Brewery and Nicholson's pub group are hoping as they join forces for new beer Hop Harvest.
The 4.5% European ale is the product of Nicholson’s pub managers', AKA the ‘Cask Masters’, time spent at the brewery in SW19.
Pale straw in colour, Hop Harvest boasts notes of fruit, melon, herbs and lime zest.
'It was a pleasure putting the beer together with the Cask Masters,' head brewer Charlie Long said.
'We talked a lot about creating a light, refreshing ale with subtle fruit character which focused on continental hops – a move away from the American Pale Ale style – and we’re excited to see how it fares when it hits the pubs in early September.'
Hop Harvest will be launched on 11 September across the Nicholson’s estate, with pubs from London to Birmingham, and the Northwest of England, Yorkshire and Scotland.
