Premium Oregon winery Alexana has just entered the UK market through wine merchant The Vineyard Cellars

Alexana Winery, part of Revana Family Vineyards, is located in the Dundee Hills region, one of the best known sub-AVAs of Oregon's Willamette Valley.

The winery was established in 2005, when founder Madaiah Revana selected its 32ha of largely unplanted land. Benefiting from 18 different soil types, Alexana specialises in terroir-driven Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris. It produces 17 different wines, with an annual production of about 13,000 cases.

Alexana is introducing three ranges into the UK market: The Terroir Series is produced with single vineyard fruit 'from like-minded growers in the Willamette Valley'; Signature Range labels are wines made with some of the estate's best fruit; while Best Block wines are single-parcel bottlings, also made with estate-grown fruit.
