The support packages will have a retail value of £250,000

It is hoped the move will help Proof Drinks' customers maximise their profits following Covid-19.

Managing director, Jeremy Hill, said: ‘Distributors like Proof with a strong footing in retail and e-commerce were the least affected, so we are fortunate to be coming out of the other side with a healthy business and our team intact. Keeping our team together was absolutely crucial for us and thankfully they will all be available from the beginning of July to assist all our customers in any way they can, when hospitality reopens.

‘We pride ourselves on our relationships with all our customers and, in a bid to help those most affected, we wanted to give something back to the hospitality sector.’

The Proof Drinks portfolio has done particularly well on Amazon, where several of its brands including Cazcabel Blanco Tequila and Cut Spiced Rum were the best-selling in their categories.

Over the last few months Proof Drinks has worked on a number of fundraising activities to help the industry, including Aviation Gin’s #Tipyourbartender initiative, which raised over £3,000 for The Drinks Trust, and it hosted a number of Cazcabel Tequila La Loterìa (Mexican Bingo) events on Zoom, which raised funds for NHS Charities.
