The Seed Fund opens competition offering up to £100,000 in support to fledgling drinks company

30 January 2017

Have a drinks idea in need of some support to get it going? The Seed Fund's annual competition, opening for entries this Wednesday, might be just what you need.

Open to fledgling food and drink companies, the competition provides mentoring to a shortlist of 12, over five days of The Seed Fund Academy. Named at the end of March, this group will benefit from one-to-one mentoring, industry visits, seminars and workshops. And if yours is the business that is selected as the eventual winner at the Great Taste Golden Fork Awards Dinner in September, you'll get a year of support worth £100,000.

If you get that far, you'll be following in the footsteps of Adam's Raw Chocolate last year, and Yuyo Yerba Mate beverages the year before that.

To enter, you'll need to have been trading for under four years. Visit The Seed Fund site from 1 February to apply.

The Seed Fund is a philanthropic organisation, currently in its fourth year. It was set up by The Collaborators, a Bristol-based agency.
