Teaser: Lucky Liquor Co's first Lucky Liqueur

18 August 2017

One of the Scottish capital's most beloved bars, Lucky Liquor Co has launched its first Lucky Liqueur to the on-trade: Chuckleberry.

Known for its impressive selection of homemade syrups and liqueurs, Lucky Liquor Co's new product will be the first in what is set to be an expanding series to come out of Mothership, the bar's production studio in Edinburgh's west end.

So what flavour is Chuckleberry (25% abv) exactly? Its a cross between a redcurrant, gooseberry and a jostaberry (a gooseberry and blackcurrant hybrid), apparently.

Created by Bramble and The Last Word Saloon owner Mike Aikman (our very own Imbibe Innovator of the Year 2016), the 250ml Lucky Liqueurs have been a permanent staple at Lucky Liquor Co since the bar first opened its doors.

Curious what it tastes like? So are we. Watch this space...and we'll report back.
