One of the biggest dates in the calendar is here – London Cocktail Week. With bartenders from all over the world descending on London and masterclasses taking over the town, we've rounded up some of the not-to-be-missed industry events taking place throughout the week.
Diageo World Class House, 4-6 Glass House Street, Soho
12-12:45pm – #LoveScotch hosted by Haig Club's David Sinclair. Entitled The Art of Flavour, this event will allow you to take part in sensory challenges, leading you to your whisky of choice.
3-4pm – A walk through of World Class House led by head of World Class Dan Dove. The house features immersive brand experiences including two bars – retro and future, with World Class cocktails from two menus. The Retro bar celebrates the history of the cocktail with a classic twist on nostalgic flavours, whilst the future bar explores the future cocktail craft. There's a Tanqueray No. Ten future forest where you can gather ingredients for your own cocktail. World Class events will run throughout the week.

The Ultimate Dessert Trolley, 12:30-1:30pm, JuJu Bar, The Old Truman Brewery, Shoreditch
A look at cognac, cocktails and dessert with Martell brand ambassador Matthias Lataille and new French restaurant Sardine.
Bacardi rum cocktail masterclass, 1-2pm, Bacardi stand
In this session, entitled Back to the Future, UK brand ambassador of Bacardi rums Metinee Kongsrivilai will guide you through the the evolution of classic rum cocktails, from the Mojito to the Miami Vice.
Grey Goose vodka cocktail masterclass, Grey Goose stand
Grey Goose ambassador Myles Donneky is hosting a coffee confidential class, discovering the world of coffee and cocktails with a range of drinks inspired by the Espresso Martini.

Sustainability talk, 2:30-3:30pm, JuJu Bar, The Old Truman Brewery, Shoreditch
A panel discussion on the importance of sustainability with tequila experts Tomas Estes and Julio Bermejo, cognac professionals Nicholas Faith and Phil Duffy, and Jacques Bezuidenhout and Iain Griffiths – hosted by Megs Miller and Matthias Lataille with Olmeca Altos and Martell.
Bombay Sapphire martini masterclass, 1-2pm, Bombay Sapphire stand
In The Misunderstood Martini Cocktail, ambassador Renaud De Bosredon will explore this classic and respected cocktail.
Clumsies Takeover, from 6pm, Callooh Callay, Shoreditch
The Clumsies bar team from Athens will be taking over the bar at Shoreditch's Callooh Callay. Explore Greece's bar culture with the team's specially curated menu.
Four course Teeling Whiskey dinner, 7-10pm, The Shrub and Shutter, Brixton
Pairing four courses with whiskeys from Irish distillery Teeling, brand ambassador Kevin Hurley will be in attendance, guiding you through each pairing and introducing you to the range. Tickets cost £45pp.
The Patrón Cocktail Lab, Old Spitalfields Market
Throughout the week, Patrón will host a Cocktail Lab, with seven bartenders from around the world – from Singapore to Mexico City – curating drinks inspired by their cities. Thursday will see Remy Savage from Paris gem Little Red Door, with his cocktail the Patrónomy
Martin Miller's Gin Martini masterclass, Opium, Soho
Calling juniper geeks... Armed with stop watches and thermometers, this masterclass will explore the differences between Martini styles – wet, dry, 50-50 and Churchill style – and looking at varying temperatures too.
Ketel One Vodka Kitchen trade talk, 12-12:45pm, World Class House
Hosted by brand ambassador David Beatty, Ketel One will take a closer look at the versatility of spices in mixed drinks. See how carbonation and viscosity get along with a wide range of spices.
The Pernod Ricard Whisk(e)y Collective, 7-9pm, JuJu Bar, The Old Truman Brewery, Shoreditch
Try all of the whiskies in the Pernod Ricard portfolio, including Irish, Scottish and Canadian examples. There will also be talks from whisk(e)y experts – with Dave Broom, Liam Sparks, Phil Huckle and Max Warner.
Spirit of Tiki, 12pm-12am, Langham Hotel, Regent Street
This all-day tiki festival will include tastings, demonstrations, seminars and food. Created by Mahiki's Georgi Radev and rum advocate Roger Barnes, the event will show how spirits can be used to make creative and refreshing cocktails – tickets cost £10.
Storytelling masterclass, 3-5pm, Seymour's Parlour, The Zetter Townhouse Marylebone
David Wondrich and Zetter's Tony Conigliaro will be hosting a cocktail masterclass discussing the importance of storytelling in cocktail making. Tickets to the event cost £45pp.
