London-based distillery, 58 Gin, is tapping into the growing demand for more sustainable products with the release of two new flavoured gins

58 English Berry Gin is made with foraged sloe berries from Kent; post distillation, the berries are macerated for six months then re-distilled at a low temperature.

Meanwhile, 58 Apple & Hibiscus Gin is made with surplus, wonky Cox apples which are vapour-distilled alongside some hibiscus flowers.

‘Our gin range has been developed to appeal to today’s eco-conscious consumer and retailers wanting to exercise their ethical credentials,’ explained managing director Carmen O’Neal. ‘We only use natural ingredients and all products are vegan and gluten-free with no artificial additives, sugar, sweeteners or sulphites.’

Both gins clock in at 43% abv and are packaged in a 100% recyclable glass bottle.
