As the culmination of a series of food-matching events, Wines of Rioja will be taking four sommeliers to the region.

Each tasting challenged a sommelier panel to find the best Rioja pairings for a particular cuisine, namely Indian, pan-Asian, American and English. After the four tastings, four of the attending sommeliers were selected at random to go on an all-expenses paid trip to Rioja.

The winners are: Rupam Talukdar from Babur, Rudolph Galand from Novikov, Guillaume Mahaut from ETM Group, and Witold Wrona from Christopher's.
